Running Over Cancer 5K Vinson Orthodontics is excited to be Platinum sponsors for the Running Over Cancer 5K that will take place Sunday March 31st!  Eleven years ago 12 Ravenscroft students joined together as “Ravens in the Hood” to run in the Hood to Coast relay in Oregon. It is the world’s largest relay race with each runner running legs for a total of 199 miles from Mt. Hood to the Pacific Coast. Seven years ago, this team started the “Running Over Cancer 5K” to raise money for the American Cancer Society to further help the fight against cancer.  Last year, the Ravens in the Hood team raised $70,000 at the Running Over Cancer 5k!  Please join the newest Ravens in the Hood team as they have been assembled to continue this fight against cancer. Vinson Orthodontics Raises Awareness for Hope Reins of Raleigh Hope Reins is a local non-profit that pairs hurting kids with rescued horses to find hope and healing through their 33-acre ranch, rescued horses and restoration in Christ. Hope Reins provides services free of charge, which can only be made possible through generous community donations. Throughout the months of November and December, Vinson Orthodontics will be collecting fundraising bracket club points from our patients to donate to Hope Reins. Vinson Orthodontics will match dollar for dollar the amount of bracket club points redeemed! 100% of all donations made will be given directly to Hope Reins to assist them in continuing their mission. As an extra incentive to donate, all patients that donate any amount of rewards points will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $50 Amazon Gift Card!! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Vinson Orthodontics is “Braced for a Cure.” We’re organizing a fundraiser in the memory of Dr. Minthu Nguyen, a local dentist who passed away in 2015 after a courageous, four-year battle against the disease. Donate Your Patient Rewards! Patients who donate 100 Patient Rewards points, or $10, receive a “Vinson Orthodontics: Braced for a Cure” t-shirt (while supplies last). Any patient who donates rewards points, or purchases a shirt will be entered in a drawing to win a $50 Visa Gift Card. All proceeds will go to 1 of Us, providing assistance to women fighting cancer.
