Breast Cancer Awareness Event October 2017

We were excited to present a donation of $3200 to 1 of US. org in loving memory of Dr. Minhthu Nguyen! This generous gift was made possible by the donations from patients/ families for donating points, purchasing t-shirts and from a matching gift by Dr. V! It was so encouraging to see the outpouring of support for individuals battling cancers of all types. 1 of US is a local nonprofit that provides direct patient support to alleviate burdens of patients undergoing cancer treatment. Our winners of the PINK 1 of US recycling bins were Katie B and Amberly E! Our random patient winner of the $50 Amazon gift card is Alec W! “My Teacher Rocks” Contest Winners

We were so delighted to receive so many responses from patients regarding what makes their teachers special!! The comments were all wonderful and the following teachers were the contest winners! Jennifer Downey from Cleveland Middle School nominated by Ava Hannah Earle from Cleveland High School nominated by Mandie James Cox from Archer’s Lodge Middle School nominated by Rylie Mrs. Tavares from Jones Dairy Elementary School nominated by Griffin Mrs. Sadler from North Forest Pines Elementary nominated by Jacob John Cook from Wake Forest High School nominated by Sarah [slider image_set=”48″ show_arrows=”true” animation=”fade”] Each teacher received a $100 and the nominating student received $50 each!!! We would again like to thank EVERY teacher in all of our school systems. Announcing Braced for a Cure 2017

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Vinson Orthodontics is raising funds for our local non-profit, 1 of Us (http://1ofus.org/). Bringing awareness to Breast and Women’s cancers is an important mission for our practice. During the months of September & October, please stop by our office and check out the many ways that we are fighting for a cure and educating our community! 100% of all donations will be given to 1 of Us! Fundraising is in loving memory of Dr. Minthu Nguyen.

Vinson Orthodontics is excited to announce our latest contest, which aims to put the spotlight on the many amazing teachers we have in our community! The “My Teacher Rocks!” contest is going on now through the end of September 2017. • The winning teachers will each be awarded $100! • Each student that nominated a winning teacher will be awarded $50! Vinson Orthodontic Sponsorship for Hope Reins “Hoofin’ It for Hope”

We are excited to sponsor Hope Reins of Raleigh’s annual “Hoofin It for Hope” event at the ranch (1-mile HIKE-A-THON) to raise money for the kids and the horses. Teams of people will hike the property while raising pledges for Hope Reins. Post- hike, they will have a huge Shindig on the ranch property- with refreshments, music, meet & greet the horses, etc. The Vinson Orthodontics GRINNIN’ station will be where the teams will photograph their smiling faces in front of a fun western backdrop!! Please join us to support this amazing local charity!
