At Vinson Orthodontics, we love making a difference in the lives of others and doing any act of kindness to make someone’s day better. So we joined the ‘One Billion Acts of Peace’ Campaign. The ‘One Billion Acts of Peace’ Campaign is an international global citizens’ movement designed to tackle the most important problems facing our planet.  We started with a simple idea… “Everyone matters. Everyone can make a difference. And together, we are unstoppable.” The Vinson Orthodontics Staff went around to 15 local Fire, Police & EMS Stations and delivered gift baskets. We thanked them for the acts of peace they perform on a daily basis. We also shared with them the Billion Acts of Peace campaign and challenged them to join us!  We would love for our patients to get on board and post their Act of Peace. Vinson Orthodontics loves Hope Reins of Raleigh! We had the opportunity to sponsor their 7th Annual Mane Event 2017!  Congratulations to Hope Reins on a successful event to raise awareness for their non-profit the provides true hope and real healing to hurting children in our communities. Vinson Orthodontics is excited to sponsor 10 goats to benefit the children and families in poverty around the world through Compassion International. By sponsoring the Kids for Kids campaign, a single goat for these families in poverty could mean a huge economic boost for better health and nutrition.  One goat can provide a family with endless benefits.  A single goat can: provide 200 gallons of milk per year, live on an average of 12 years, produce vitamin rich milk leading to better health, the milk can be sold at the market and a female goat can produce on average 3 offspring per year. We would like to shout out to the hikers, volunteers, rescue horses and the sweet families and kids in crisis served by this amazing place each day!!! Vinson Orthodontics is excited to sponsor the Me Fine Foundation’s annual Event “Music for Me Fine”!  This is a benefit concert for the Me Fine Foundation and will be held on Friday, April 21 at 7 pm at All Saints Chapel in Raleigh, and will feature acoustic entertainment from BJ Barham of the internationally-acclaimed group, American Aquarium. Doors will open at 7; music will start at 8. Your ticket also entitles you to a delicious assortment of food from Empire Eats, as well as beer and wine.  Please make plans to enjoy an evening out, on us, to help some critically ill kids at UNC & Duke children’s hospitals. 100% of ticket sales will go to Me Fine’s mission.
