Here at Vinson Orthodontics, we love to support our community, especially the great teachers at our schools! We are so happy to once again be accepting submissions for our “My Teacher Rocks” contest. Nominate your favorite teacher using the form below, and they could be awarded a prize of $100! If your nomination is chosen as a winner, you will receive $50! 2019 Refugee Hope Fundraising Results! Throughout 2019, our patients donated to Refugee Hope Partners! Thanks to the help from our patients, Dr. Vinson & Vinson Orthodontics were able to donate $3000 to Refugee Hope! What is a Refugee? A refugee is someone who flees a country to escape danger or persecution. Did you know that million people have been forcibly displaced around the world? Here’s how Refugee Hope Partners is making an impact right here in Raleigh, NC. It’s a community in Raleigh that opens their doors to refugee families from around the world! They support these families through educational assistance and tutoring, homework help, English reading and writing, early learning, swimming lessons, bible studies, medical advocate programs, and more. There is no limit to how far this program will go to ensure success as these children and their families assimilate into the US. In 2020 we will continue our efforts to uplift and support this amazing organization and ask our patients to join us!

Time after time, our patients amaze us with their generosity when we ask for a hand to help people in need. Now, we could use your help! Vinson Orthodontics is raising funds for Refugee Hope Partners and their outreach programs for immigrants in the North Raleigh area. We’re asking patients to donate their “Patient Reward” points to Refugee Hope Partners through the patient rewards hub program (online or on the mobile app). The amount you care to donate is up to you, and any patient who makes a donation of any amount will be entered in a random drawing to win a pair of Apple Airpods. If you’re considering donating Reward Points for this cause, please contact our office for information, or let us know during your next visit! We appreciate your generosity! About Refugee Hope Partners Refugee Hope Partners is a series of faith-based programs designed to help our North Raleigh neighbors who have come to America from different nations in search of better lives and opportunities. Through homework tutoring programs. Adult ESL courses, Bible study and more. Refugee Hope Partners seeks to engage, equip, and encourage our refugee neighbors as they forge productive, enriching lives in our community.

  Vinson Orthodontics is proud to once again announce their October fundraiser, Braced for a Cure: Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser. We are raising funds in memory of Dr. Minhthu Nguyen, a local dentist who passed away in 2015 after a courageous, four-year battle against the disease. Donate 100 Patient Rewards points or $10, and receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last). 100% of all donations will be given to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. UNC Lineberger is a cancer research and treatment center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Serving patients at N.C. Cancer Hospital, UNC Lineberger is the only public comprehensive cancer center in the state. Learn more about UNC Lineberger on their website. All patients that donate any rewards points or purchase a shirt will be able to put their name into a drawing for a chance to win a $50 VisaGift Card.
